Environmental Survey Results


During an "Advocate For Change" Project, done to spread awareness about a topic, I had made a sign-up sheet for a survey, and the survey was filled out by fifteen people. The survey sent out was a survey about the environment, and now I going to go over the results.

 

 

The first question was about how eco-friendly you think you are, it was on a scale of 1 to 10, and the results were:

1: 0 People

2: 0 People

3: 0 People

4: 2 People

5: 0 People

6: 7 People

7: 1 Person

8: 2 People

9: 2 People

10: 1 Person

The results of this show that many people think that they are quite eco-friendly, even if by chance they may not be.

 

The second question was asking if people were willing to take simple steps to being more environmental, it was Yes, No or Maybe, and the results were:

No: 0 People

Yes: 14 People

Maybe: 1 Person

The results of this show that there are lots of people that would be willing to work on being more eco-friendly.

 

The third question was asking which simple steps people already took to be more environmental, it was the steps from the "10 Ways" Blog, and the results were:

NO STRAWS: 4 People PUBLIC TRANSPORT: 11 People BEACH CLEANUP: 14 People REDUCE DISPOSABLES: 9 People RUESE DISPOSABLES: 9 People RECYCLE: 10 People HOME GARDENING: 11 People COMMUNITY SERVICE: 5 People RESEARCH MORE: 8 People SPREAD AWARENESS: 7 People

The results of this show that many people have done environmental tasks and have taken simple steps to be eco-friendly.

 

The fourth question was asking which simple steps people plan to take to be more environmental, it was the steps from the "10 Ways" Blog, and the results were:

NO STRAWS: 8 People PUBLIC TRANSPORT: 3 People BEACH CLEANUP: 1 Person REDUCE DISPOSABLES: 4 People RUESE DISPOSABLES: 4 People RECYCLE: 2 People HOME GARDENING: 3 People COMMUNITY SERVICE: 4 People RESEARCH MORE: 3 People SPREAD AWARENESS: 3 People

The results of this show that many people have done environmental tasks but still plan on doing more.

 

The fifth question was asking if people think that disposable plastic was too good to stop using, and the results were:

Yes: 3 People No: 7 People Maybe: 5 People

The results of this show that lots of people think that disposable plastic is too useful and helpful that they would not be willing to stop using it, and some people are unsure, and some would be willing to change.

 

The sixth question was asking what comes to mind when people think about the environment, and the results were:

Green: 15 People

Nature: 15 People

Pollution: 7 People

Blue: 4 People

Plastic: 5 People

Trees: 12 People

Factories: 3 People

Gas: 4 People

Icebergs: 5 People

Animals: 12 People

People: 10 People

Space: 1 People

The results of this show that lots of people think of many things when it comes to the environment and it can all be interpreted in many ways.
